Why Nintendo Wii Video Game Console?

The Nintendo Wii video game console presently has an amazing set of functionality because it uses a different approach to gaming. Nintendo Wii is a video game system controlled from gaming industry giant Nintendo Co. Ltd. Contrary to popular belief, Nintendo Wii is not entirely new – it is actually an updated and renamed version of the company's very popular Nintendo Revolution.

It is very different from other video game consoles such as the xbox or PS3. Games which come together packaged with the Wii are great and the Wii video game controller is going to then be easier to understand how to use. What's so greate about Nintendo Wii? Well, Nintendo Wii's success is due to affordable price and its a very special controller function. The Nintendo Wii allows players to use the nunchuk video controller that acts like a remote control. It's a motion-sensor which allows gamers to use real physical motions – swings, stabs, and other gestures – to control characters on the screen. Many gamers are able to get into action games with the Nintendo Wii compared with controllers that merely rely buttons or joy sticks - and the realism is no longer there.

The Nintendo Wii sells for $249.99. Not bad, and is a really great value especially since the Xbox 360 is selling at $399.99 and Sony's Playstation3 sells for $599.99. With this price, Nintendo targets a larger group with mass appeal. Nintendo Wii consoles do not take graphics and speed to new levels, but the popularity of the station is pretty clear. Another cool factor for the Nintendo Wii video game consoles is that you can now interface with the Internet using a Wi-Fi USB connector. Nintendo Wii consoles then enable you to surf the Web, and access Nintendo classics for download such as Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers, and many, many more.
